Embrace the good moments by embodying them. When we experience a moment of gratitude or give or receive a real compliment, we can choose to benefit longer and more intensely by experiencing that moment very consciously. This means, not only in the mind, but also in the body.

When I called customer services of a company with an urgent question, the advisor was so kind and helpful that I asked her name and really told her that I appreciated the way she helped me and that she is an inspiration for others. Really! When we experience a wonderful moment like this, it’s so nice to give the person that compliment and to experience a real moment of gratitude. Guess what? Yesterday, I received these beautiful flowers from the advisor to thank me for that nice conversation. What if we all could focus more on those good experiences of kindness, give them a name and embody them?

When you experience the next time one of those warm moments, I would like to invite you to take 1 or 2 minutes to:
bring your both feet on the ground and feel them consciously
open your upper body, so you allow yourself to create space to breath
breath in and out 3 times and try to follow your breath without changing anything
than take a moment to observe what you feel inside your body. for example in your muscles, body temperature, the area around your heart, stomach, intestines…
just a few seconds, welcome everything that comes in and goes out. All that is.
smile and end your moment by thanking yourself and life for this little experience
